Tasting Notes
A fresh take on a variety that you hardly knew existed. Plenty of fruit with enough acid to keep you wanting more. It’s not a sweet wine but it has enough honeysuckle notes to make you think it is. With notes of Green Apple, Peach Pear, and Apricot, this wine will surely make you smile.
Winemaking
A long growing season allowed the fruit to hang out and fully ripen. We picked the fruit at peak flavor and pressed the grapes to get maximum flavor. The juice was racked 24hours later and we began fermentation. We fermented the juice in tank and midway through fermentation we racked the juice into a combination of neutral French Oak barrels and stainless-steel barrels. Stirring the lees every week to ensure we achieved rich creamy characteristics on the palate.
